The TFC-5 System consists of a full color touch screen which takes the place of ALL switches and buttons in the car. The TFC-5 system features a highly accurate, programmable, state-of-the-art microprocessor with sampling up to fourteen thousand times per second, and works in conjunction with our patented solid state relay board. This unique single relay board will power up the cooling system, fuel pump, line lock, O2 sensors, starter, racepak, two purge valves, and four stages of nitrous - and yet weighs less than one pound! We commonly see nitrous kits energizing a tenth and a half quicker than any other system on the market. The TFC-5 gives you a tenth and a half tuning window that’s not available with any other system.
Let’s Make a Pass.
Simply pushing the one touch start button energizes the starter, then ignition and starts the engine. The system is programmed to then energize the fuel pump, water pump and cooling fan. Next, go to the water box, here is where our TFC-5 System Air Shifter comes into play. Just drop the hammer, then touch the screen and you’re in high gear. Let the fun begin. Each time the clutch is depressed, the TFC-5 System air shifter dumps the air from the pods. Next you test fire each nitrous kit by simply touching the screen and then, you utilize the Automatic Purge function. Here you just touch one screen button and the bottle pressure will automatically be purged drown to your preset desired pressure - exactly the same pressure, every time. Last, you touch the screen to arm the nitrous; this turns on the TFC-5 System’s Two Step Rev Limiter, the data recorder, resets the memory on the ignition box and also does a self-diagnostic system check, then displays RACE READY. No more worrying about forgetting the fuel pumps, the two step or the cooling, because it’s ALL Done For You and checked. Now all you have to do is stage, cut a good light and win your race.
Additional TFC-5 System Functions.
There are MANY other functions included on the Home Screen, which can be turned on or off, or be easily and quickly reprogrammed between rounds, via the Touch Screen. Some functions included are ‘on-shift ignition timing retards’ and electronic or pneumatic shock control (both load and unload). The TFC-5 System can control up to Eight nitrous systems, easily programmed via the touch screen with any combination YOU choose. You can set the dwell time for test firing the nitrous kits. The TFC-5 System timers control nitrous kits to the hundredth of a second. You can also set nitrous timers to leave on one kit, then deactivate it while energizing any other kit at precisely the same time. The digital clutch sensor makes setting the nitrous activation point easy. Just put the dial indicator in the clutch, let the clutch out to where you want the nitrous to engage, and hit the set button on the touch screen and it’s immediately set!
